Does Pro Rae Cars bend the 1/2-13 bolt and sleeve used to attach the shock to the housing when they make the axle housing? Both of mine are bent and I'm wondering if its from racing or if Pro bends them so the bolt doesn't turn when you tighten the nut.

These are the full length subframe connectors that bolt to the front k member seat bolts and torque box bolts in the rear. Has anyone used these and how reliable are they? Link: http://www.swracecars.com/store/79-9...12=40-720.a spx

Thanks guy's, these cars are just standard plastic glue together model kit's from Revell, AMT, MPC. I have been building them for years, as far as cost in each of them?, I have no idea. I have had two cars with this style rear end (both 8 bolts). Neither had the shock mount bend like that. I suggest you check your shock travel, also check that you don't have bent shocks.

Hadn't seen those before.... The only issue I see is that they do not fasten to the factory subframes. Bolting to the seat brackets won't cut it. True the tie the rear subs to the k-member....but the are basically loose between those two points and probably will still flex. I like the idea...maybe some mods to tie them to the front subs and they'd have something. I bought a set ...
