Hello, I've got a dual boot on a Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop, its over three years old now! I have Ubuntu 9.10 on it at present, but I've never been able to get RTE live player to work on it in Ubuntu (this is my third Ubuntu), aint the best at the command line level of use I'm afraid... Would anyone have had similar trouble with RTE live player or have any ideas or tips!? all ideas welcome, ...

Was hoping that someone might be able to help me. I'm situated in NZ and really really wanna watch the football game today and Wednesday. Hi everyone, I missed ""buyer beware"" the rte show by philip boucher hayes, and was hoping to catch it on rte player....but for some reason it is not on the player? why would they not host this on player, when richard corrigans farm, which occupied the same t.v slot last week appeared and is still on the rte payer? hey, just wondering if anyone would be able to find the ad for rte sport that had clips of the world cup 2002 and the feeder tune 'just a day', it was a good 4 or 5 mins long and was shown late at night around 2002/ 2003 thanks
