Are you saying you're still 'suspecting' that RME/Spongetech are shorting GetFugu shares after it is clearly stated in the 8-K SEC filing that: Section 2. SpongeTech and R.M. each represent and warrant to GetFugu that neither such Party (a) has engaged in any short sales (as defined in Regulation SHO under the Securities Act) of GetFugu common stock, (b) holds any open short position in GetFugu ...

Hey there. I'm wondering if you could give me your opinion on this: For the money should I go for the RME FF800 or the Echo Audiofire Pre8? I might be able to get the FF800 for around 800$ used. The Echo is 700$ new. What do you think?   Thanks - Riz

If RME owns 66 Million and that 66 Million is less than 10% of the OS, then the OS must exceed 660 Million. If the OS was 505 Million, then RME would have to file because the percentage ownership would be 13.07% For example. 66 Million = 9% of OS, then OS = 733 Million (no filing needed) 66 Million = 5% of OS, then OS = 1.32 Billion. (no filing needed)

I'm upgrading my personal studio and I have a fairly decent sized midi setup - requires 30 1/4" TRS inputs which are routed to Logic/DP. Has anyone had experience with this unit or this kind of setup? I don't want to summ keyboards and I generally don't track them - but use plug-ins for effects. Is the RME M-32AD Recommended, not recommended - alternatives?

I seem to get better separation (between tracks) and 3d feel when I move my audio tracks from ableton to my hardware sampler Yamaha A4000. Also the overall sound is more "hifi". I don´t have hardware master recorder so I master back to wawelab thru rme adi-2 which goes to thru spdif to emu 1212. Even in this stage I can hear loss of quality (even though it´s litle, but still annoying) ...

I posted this question over on the RME forum, but didn't get any response, so I'll give it a try here. Note I am a long time Sonar user, and have done all my mixing of recorded material using a mouse, creating envelops, etc. I have no interest in using H/W faders for mixing recordings.   Conversely, I have a significant need for H/W faders for live mixing. My goal is to use the ...

I've got a RME FF800 that has a slew of analog/digital stereo outputs.  I don't use any of the analog ouputs.  The only one I use the ADAT output that is connected to my UA 2192 whose analog outs are connected to my Coleman M3 for monitoring.   What else do you guys use the stereo outs on your interfaces for?  I'm trying to think of something...but not much is coming to mind....

Hi guys! I'm currently recording my vocal tracks. I use a Neumann TLM 49, and RME fireface 800 incl.its preamps. I put the gain on the preamps about midways and record. I get a approx. dB value of vocals (while the volume fader is 0 in Sonar) on somewhere between -24 to -14. This value on the verses.  On chorus I get values 0+ in some parts.  Question is this:  I have read the ...

This way Sonar's audio tracks handle some VSTs has always struck me as strange. Just wondering how some of you folks deal with this issue. Guitar Rig 3 is a good example. Typically, when recording a guitar or bass, I D.I. in via one input of my RME Fireface since I want to record mono. But, when using Guitar Rig 3, sometimes I want to use some of its stereo output effects. But here is what ...
