I have had episodes of PVCs, PACs and SVT for much of my adult life and have not yet had an ablation, but I can tell you that these were all pretty tolerable until I developed an long term infection in my jaw bone from a cracked tooth. It took a year or more to diagnose and treat and during that time my arrhythmia symptoms grew much worse than I had ever experienced before. ...

I was searching for more information on Barrett's esophagus and ablation and stumbled upon a couple of articles, based on newly published research. It's pretty interesting stuff if, like me, you have Barrett's. I'll try to post the link below, but you may have to cut and past. It will take you to a list of articles, two of which pertain directly to Barrett's and ablation. You can then click on ...

That's a tough question -- and a tough situation to be in. I am NOT a medical professional, but I have lived with an arrhythmia problem all my life for which ablation has been recommended and after following the progress of ablation technology and researching it for over 20 years, my own personal opinion is that ablation for arrhythmia is as much an art as a science. I couldn't find much information in English about this procedure, so I decided to post and see if anyone else has had it done. (I had it performed in an Asian country; it's already been performed in Singapore, Korea, Taiwan). I have legs that tend to be too muscular, any bit of exercise makes my legs ...
