I'm planning to apply wharton MBA program. I've asked my customer to write a rec letter and got a sealed envelope. It's a bit difficult for asking him to do this again. (ps. I asked him to write the letter according to the wharton questions) Could I mail the rec letter to wharton on paper?

So I saw on TV the other day the preview of Quarantine starring Jenn Carpenter from Dexter, which I identified right away as a remake of the virtually unknown (but very good) Spanish horror movie REC. Hollywood seems to be determined to not create decent horror, but remake or rip it off instead. The only great studio horror movie I've seen in the last few years was the drop-dead ...

Hi there, I have a question on the rec letters, hope someone can help me. My two recommenders are supervisors that worked with me on my current job. One of them has already left, but we are still in contact. Anyway, my question is regarding the 3rd recommender. Is this really necessary / value added? I have two peers from my current job that have worked with me for the past two years. ...

The discussion is so interesting. I just wish it were someone else's problem! So say I write what seems to me to be a fair draft (the positive parts). What would be the kind of weakness that would be honest but not damning? Note: in my view, this entire situation is unethical. I should not be writing this letter. I provided the recommender with more than enough material, hu has known ...

Yes, the .223 is a fine round. But for a SHTF situation, I'm taking an AK. The last thing I want to worry about is a properly lubed/clean gun. And as far as accuracy goes.... if someone is 300m away, I'm not taking shots as most people aren't gonna pose a threat that far away. And IF I'm gonna take a shot that far away, I'm not gonna use an AK or an AR.

That's what makes it fun!!!   Carol
