K8 GSX-R1000 "cc" question. Ok..this may be the stupidest question of all time...but i heard somewhere that the K8 GSX-R1000 is able to switch between 600, 750 and 1000cc....??? Can anyone confirm this for me? I have looked on other sites but cant seem to find concrete info. Cheers All. P.S. sorry for lame 1st post.

I am looking fot just a cheap +/- R1000 Compact. It will just be for happy snaps so dont need anything special. I am thinking the Fuji A180 seems to be the best in this price range. Can anyone sugest a other compact for this price range?

Is there anyone that makes a 1" lowering link for a 2007 GSX-R1000? I am tip toeing it, but my rear spring is preloaded a little and wanting to properly adjust the spring but the bike will be a little higher in the rear. I had a roaring toys link but didn't like it cuase it had 4 different setting and didn't like all the extra holes.

Are there any options for fuel mapping the 1999 Carrera? I've seen some on here have sportbikes with me also owning a K6 GSX-R1000 that I can map the fuel on a dyno. I'm not seeing anything like Dynojet offers. I'm not too keen on changing exhaust and intake parameters with out keeping the engines map good to go.

well i wracked my k7 R750,and im intrested in buying a K5 R1000 seller says that the previous owner put a performance chip and since than the gear indicator is "stock" on 5th gear (because of that chip and that the gear indicator is fine) someone is familiar with this ? is it fixable ? Thanks

Maybe they (Yosh) were getting some weird harmonics going on at a certain RPM, and the added mass was able to change the frequency enough to dampen / eliminate that?? In other words, maybe the heavier cams isn't what they would normally choose, but maybe they were just having a particular issue and this was a band-aid for it
