I have been a smoker for over 30 years and quit 4 months ago. A few weeks after I quit, I started experiencing a physical anomaly that is at best uncomfortable and at worse embarrassing and painful Painful menstrual periods . It started after eating a large salad at a buffet restaurant that we frequent. Within minutes of eating, I became bloated and experienced pain and ...

I don't get why people quit weed and drink alcohol. It seems like trading addictions to me. Alcohol is a worse addiction than pot in my opinion. I suppose maybe some people can drink on occasion but if they smoke, they will smoke all the time? Help me understand the logic behind this.

72, actually 73 hours now. And, I had completely forgot that I had a dentist appointment today. Years and years of nicotine and tar have just been scraped from my teeth. That'll help a ton without being able to taste that in my mouth. I need to get my truck detailed now to get rid of the smell in there lol. Thanks for the warning James. Yeah, there haven't been any kind...

You know, I quit cigs 5 days ago and it's not that hard so far man. I've been smoking for about 3 years. I'm not gonna quit weed, cus I don't smoke it that much but you shouldn't have that much of an issue. If you do, just buy the gum or something like that...

Quiting is very hard. Kudos to you for doing it, and trying your best. I did not see in you post, does he smoke? If so, you NEED to have him try quitting with you. For one, it is very difficult to quit when everyone around you is smoking, and Secondly, I think he will understand so much more if he is quitting too. If he doesn't smoke, just keep reiterating to him that you are trying very ...

It is probably/most probably better to quit all substances that alter perceptions, but I will say that it is more feasable to have a couple drinks than it is to have a couple hits of herb and maintain a sober lifestyle. When you smoke weed, you are stoned. Granted, the high can vary in intensity, but when you smoke you are high. Contrarily, you can drink a couple beers or glasses of ...

You are absolutely correct smoking does not ease stress. When the nicotine bell goes off that creates stress, and a cig. calms that down but only for awhile until the nicotine bell starts again. I quit smoking the first time 25 yrs. ago with acupuncture, a smoke ending group and weaning off the cigs. slowly, using one less per day every 4 days or so. It took weeks, but when ...
