Silly question time...... After driving through a deeper than expected puddle. The engine lost power and I could not see behind for steam. After a few minutes the engine was back to normal, will this have done any damage to the engine? cheers Karlan 130

I have an old POS radio, that worked somewhat in my old truck, but doesn't work at all in my new truck. (both 9400's). I've had this thing for 12 years and I can't believe it suddenly died just on a 2 month layoff. Here's the symtoms: Always had a weak signal OTR but was usefull enough to listen to other trucks and converse with guardshacks and receiving docks on site. Took it out of my truck...

Stupid question time, when ISCR trades on the German market do the shares come out of our normal float? Or are there seperate shares for the German market? Something I never understood and now that this is also moving on the German market, would be nice to know.

OK, successfully installed my SONAR 8.31 on my new Windows 7 System and everything appears to be working nicely!  So now, what's my MO?  When do I use 32 and when do I use 64?  I have certain WAVES plugs that don't work in 64 bit so I'm thinking of mixing using the 32 bit. Should I record in 64? Will this give me more power for multitrack recording? ...

Surprised not to have seen mention of this today. What did you guys think of Marcus Brigstock's sermon on AGW to an apparently converted audience? It made me want to smash my telly as I listened to him state, categorically, that global warming advances unchecked and that 2010 is going to be the hottest year on record and no one really took him to task for it. Even the scientists involved in...

I just setup bootcamp on my MBP with win 7. I then did a time machine backup and it backed up like 22gigs. My question is does time machine back up the bootcamp drive? If so is there a way to restore that drive if something happens with windows. I've searched through here and the apple support and came up with nothing. thanks

Quick question for all the experts. I tried my luck shooting skeet for the first time today. I took a lesson last week for the first time. we stayed on the sporting clays the whole time and did pretty good. Today we started off on the sporting clays today to remind me to focus on the birds and not aim with the sights. After getting six straight birds on the sporting clays, I asked the instructor...

Hi I hope someone can help me with what you might think is a silly question. I recently purchased an iMac and want to get the time capsule for back-up. Question: I already have a wireless network and both the Mac's and the PC's run off of it, will the time capsule run off that network and just sort of be a wireless storage drive? I really do not need to "reinvent the wheel" with my ...

Hiya Guys. I'm new to all things Mac so sorry if it seems like I am asking stupid questions. I'm thinking about getting a Time Capsule. But I have a question. I don't want it to be the main modem in my home. I want to use it to back up wirelessly, or through cable, my important data, e.g. music, photos, videos etc etc. Can I do this through the internet that is already in my house?...

Hello everyone. This is my first post and I am a very proud Canadian as well as a relatively new mac user (completely converted and loving it for over 1.5 years now). My question is about Time Machine. I produce marketing and sales videos for a living and have a helper that uses a PC (crazy I know). I am considering purchasing a new mac before too long and was thinking about giving ...
