I'm trying to join 2 fairly large tables. One of which I've put a compound index on one of them, to try and speed things up. However I can't seem to get the query to utilise the compound index. Could someone suggest what changes I could make to the indexes or the query to make it run any faster (currently about 0.75s. I'd like it faster). Code: CREATE TABLE `product_group` ( `...

if you were to rewrite your query using explicit JOIN syntax -- which you should be doing anyway, not just for this one index situation -- then it would look like this... Code: SELECT pg.productID , SUM(s.units) AS units FROM sale_date_by_group AS s INNER JOIN product_group AS pg ON pg.productID = s.groupID AND pg.groupType = 'store' AND pg.groupID = 42...

Hey everyone. I just upgraded my server from cf7 to cf8, and now some of the queries that get returned are different. Well, the results I want are still in there, but now the query isn't always returned by itself, but as a part of a larger structure that has also has the nodes, resultset, cached, executiontime, sql, and sqlparamenters. I'm assuming this is a cf8 feature or ...

Yes, it behaves differently in CF8. You could always create your own function that displays the query data the way you want. IIRC, the template used for cfdump is not "modifiable".

Could someone please help me with a little query with verb structure. What is the correct way to say " I am walking" is it "Ta me ag shuil" or is it "Shuilim i.e I walk or I am walking". Again for example "I'm selling". Is it "Ta me ag diol" or does "Diolaim" mean "I sell or I'm selling" and is it the more correct way to say i'm selling" Ta born orm ach bhfuil an teachtaireacht seo ...

Friends, Thank you for your replies. Using code is probably beyond my capabilities, but I can produce a result using the table and query structure even though it is inelegant. I am keeping separate fields rather than concatenating into a single field. The method is to insert Applicant ID fields into the Applications table. By linking multiple Applicant tables to the Application table, a ...
