I have a 84 Chevy C-20 PU with 1978 350 eng, with quadrajet carb. Seems to run good but cant get over 10 mpg no matter what I've tried. What can I do to increase mileage? I'm open to anything that works. Thank in advance for your time and help Answer 10 miles per gallon for a C 20 is not bad mileage. Before assaulting the carburetor check the rear end gears. If there is a tag on the rear ...

I am looking for a 7042240 Quadrajet (1972 455 automatic 800cfm). Needs to be complete and rebuildable. Can send you Paypal or make a deal with my reproduction black sports steering wheel (only a few months old) if you are looking for one. Need good pics to make deal - thanks! May consider at 7041540 carb, but sort of have a '72 theme for my project.

Hi everyone, I'm doing a 350 4bbl intake/Quadrajet carb swap on my '72 Skylark. As I'm putting everything back together I see that the original 2bbl carb bolts which attach it to the manifold are going to be way too short for the 4bbl Quadrajet carb. Can someone please let me know the correct length for the bolt so I can go pick some up from the hardware store?

All, I'm laying out plans to convert my '86 Suburban to modern FI (5.3L). Currently the truck is all stock, which includes a 40g tank and a non-computer quadrajet carb. Some of my options for plumbing FI includes - stock tank w/ external Fuel Pump (FP) and proper lines pros: easiest to get going cons: sucking fuel through the stock pickup. question on long term reliability - sump ...
