I am doing pullups every other day, when will I see results?? I can do 5 but I want to do 11 really bad, then I am shooting for 20, I just wonder when I will start seeing results?~erica 5 Replies ( last )

Hey guys i just started lifting again a couple of weeks ago unfortunately i cant perform pullups as well as i could do a few months ago atm i can do in 3 sets 5reps/4reps/3reps. Is it worth me carrying on doing this every week and hopefully ill get strong or do assisted pullups (i havnt got a machine but im sure i can comprimise with something) Thanks guys

At the bottom of a dead hang pullup, do you relax your shoulders totally? Or do you maintain some muscular tension so that you don't drop fully? My arms are completely straight, but I'm worried that my shoulders will get dislocated with weighted pullups. Thanks....

Anyone else have this problem? I seem to have ALOT of trouble adding weight to my weighted pullups whenever I bulk... I guess it's because I have to compensate for the extra bodyweight that I'm pulling. Conversely, I always add weight pretty damn easily to my pullups when I cut. Obviously, the difficulty in adding weight to my pullups depends on my bodyweight. So the question is... how do I ...

I was informed yesterday that the minimums on the IST have been bumped up. The new requirements are: 5 Pullups 60 Crunches 13:30 run time, I'm not totally sure that the run time is the same, I'll figure it out later today. I'm goin up to the twin cities to take my IST for boot camp today, even though I'm not leaving for boot for over 3 weeks, so I'll catch ya all later.
