While installing the ESS SC a hiccup occurred due to my Rogue Engineering Power Pulleys. The crank pulley has already been reverted back to OEM per Roman's recommendation. Do I also need to revert back to OEM water pump pulley, power steering pulley, alternator pulley, and main belt tensioner? It seems the belt will not fit...or should I fit a slightly larger belt? Any guidance is ...

I think I'm going to make some new shiney bling-bling billet pulleys for the nailhead. This would be for the water pump and crank, since the other ones for the PS pump and Alt are already available. I'm thinking about buying some bulk aluminum material to help bring costs down. I can make them to either A/C or non A/C dimension. I haven't worked the cost out yet, but is anyone else interested?...

Hey, all. I'm wanting to add some aftermarket pulleys; I'm going to have Tony over at FI install them, and in response to my question as to which is the better pair, Stillen or NST, he said the following: Quote: You have to be careful when you change the diameter of a crank pulley. It is good to go overdriven yes, but if other pulley's run off of the...

Last night I heard this horrible screeching sound coming from the passenger side of the engine. I popped the hood and it sounds like its coming from one of the pulleys. The weird thing is that it would screech for about 2-3 seconds and then would quiet down for 2 seconds and then repeat all over again. Would I hurt anything by spraying a little WD-40 on those bearings to see if that quiets ...

The 3.25 and some of the 3.00 pulley got some super clean on them and took the anodizing coat off. Nothing wrong just discolored. Any other question just PM me. Alright this is my first post on here so be gentle. I love cars but I dont know too much mechanically. Anyways, here is my problem. My 92 88 (3800) started using up coolant a while back. Nothing too bad so I just kept filling the resevoir. In the past few weeks the coolant drains out quite a bit faster. To add to the problem, my engine starts smoking towards the bottom of the engine (on ...

A while ago I started a thread to try and find out what the chirpping squeeling noise was when I started my 2007 frontier up. I found out it was the belt/tensioner. After dropping the truck off 5 times and having the tensioner replaced it still makes this ungodly and embarresing noise! I took the truck to a privately owned garage and the replace the belt (cost me $100) They said my pulleys werent...
I had a little chattering coming from the motor. I thought it would be one of the pulleys, but i took the belt off and still the same thing. Do you think its the timing chain going out? or Just a bad tensioner?

hey guys Im having quite a noticeable moaning/rubbing noise coming from my pulleys. The belt is pretty tight so no issues with loose belt. its only started happening the last couple of days as the weathers got colder, if thats got anything to do with it, but it sounds like its coming from the (looking at the engine) right side pulley, the one with the gaps in the middle. is ...
