Problem with puddles and steering I was just in the Lake District this past week and got to experience some of the large puddles/lakes that formed during the past week. A funny thing would happen when I would go through a deep puddle, my steering would get really stiff when I got out of it. It has happened before but I just thought that ...

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12/14/private -property-... The Clean Water Restoration Act currently pending in the U.S. Senate could reach to control even a "seasonal puddle" on private property. "Right now, the law says that the Environmental Protection Agency is in charge of all navigable water," said Sen. John Barrasso, R-WY, chairman of the Senate Western Caucus and an ...

Hi there...I've been reading this forum for weeks now and I've read what seems like a hundred threads regarding coolant leaks. My situation in short: I have had a slight leak going on for a couple months now. Nothing that I see puddles, but where I get the coolant low message. I've gone through about 2 gallons of coolant in the last 2 months. I took it to my mechanic and he told ...

So we all know it is cold and are preparing accordingly with layers and wind/water shields...etc Didn't think about the bike much though apart from the ritualistic clean and oil. With these climatic conditions, off road static puddles have the tendancy to be covered in a thin layer of ice, which make a great noise when they are unavoidable. The problem kicks in with the muddy water...

Scenario A cup or two of water remains in the shower or on the shower seat. The water puddles are larger than 1 inch in diameter. Code requires the receptor to slope to the drain but the Standards do not require inspection to code. I think most would believe it is a defect but the question would be "is it a material defect and a required reporting item"? Is a small amount of ...

Noticed a funny smell coming from my 91 metro after driving it to work and back for the past week and thought maybe it was just the smell of the engine heating when driving. When I was outside today I noticed a few large oil puddles under it and decided to investigate. I found that there was only a small bit of oil on the dipstick end and it appeared that oil was leaking out somewhere either from...
I saw that a fellow org member's car was hydrolocked recently. How timid should I be when it is raining or when I am going through puddles? I do not want this to happen to me. Your thoughts?

While driving around yesterday my check engine light, VSC, and VSC OFF lights all decided to stare back at me. It has been raining here nonstop so I figured that maybe driving around in puddles for the last two days had gotten some water in a sensor or something, but I called my service advisor anyway. He said that the water shouldn't affect anything and to bring the car over. An hour later...
