We are hoping to come to San Diego for 7 days in September but would prefer not to hire a car. Is it easy to get around on public transport? Are there stops near most of the local attractions? We are thinking of staying in the Sheraton San Diego or Hacienda Hotel Old Town but I can't figure out from the Online Transit Information website whether there is a stop there?

Hi all, Arriving in Cancun Dec 6 for our first visit. Staying at the Westin Lagunamar. We'd like to do a little sightseeing and snorkeling at places like Puerto Morelos , Cozumel and maybe Playa del Carmen, as well as see places like Tulum . My wife is a little nervous about hiring a car, and while we may do some guided tours, we do like to be more flexible and able to stay ...

On my way home from VI form, I was on the bus behind two 50 year old geordie women who were discussing what they were going to do with their gimps tonight. Fucking hell it was graphic. And last month on my way up to scotland on a train, a middle aged transvestite sat opposite me. It wasnt even subtle, the guy looked like Brian Blessed in a skirt. I've got nothing against transvestites,...

Which do people reccomend? I am coming to Prague Friday week (4th December) for 2 nights and I am wondering whther it would be better to buy a 48 hour travelcard and use public transport to get to the hotel or use one of those private transfer companys. What do people reccomend?

I'm coming into the Port of Miami on a Celebrity cruise ship, and then flying out from MIA. I've been on the web for a couple hours looking for a good(economical) way to move my bod and roller bag from one to the other. I can see some things that ...

That is the question. Given the opportunity, would you exclusively use a public transport system over using your car to get to work? In the US, the bigger cities have transport systems that have rapid transit with bus support, but also have park and ride lots where one can leave the car at and take a train downtown or pool with another driver. I can't speak for myself in this issue since...

I don't use Sheffield's public transport, but my next to eldest child does, in order to get to college. I drop her off in the City centre, work permitting and she makes her own way to Castle. She used to catch the bus from the centre, until she got sick of the stench of other passengers, B.O., farty smells, urine soaked trousers from drunks etc. Now she walks. It was bad enough when I was ...

I`ve just been reading an article in Railway Magazine reporting on Noise Abatement legislation on the trains. It`s background to an article about the increase in complaints over fellow passengers playing annoying music using transistor radios on the trains (something I can well and truely empathise with). Apparently it`s against the Railway bye-laws which "forbid the playing of portable ...

Hello Hopefully someone can help with this. I would like to setup some transport rules that will automatically flag messages for follow up in email enabled public folders. If Follow up Flags are no longer available I don’t mind colour categories instead, as long as the messages are highlighted in some way. My apologies if this question has already been asked before. Many thanks.
