I pruned my rose bushes today, this 4th day of December! I am obviously a newby too gardening and I am beside myself over the mistake I've made. I'm not even sure the type of bush I'm dealing with. Any tips for saving these poor roses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, ROOKIE:)

I'm new to BC, and I don't know much about rose care anyway. I understand that pruned ends of canes should be painted after pruning, but I can't find the answers to the following questions: a) Should the ends be painted immediately after pruning? b) All the ends, or only the larger, older canes? c) What should I use to paint them? d) Why do they need painting anyway? What will happen if...

So...Is it true that if my skin is pruned up after being in the tub my PH is off???? Just curious. I noticed that if I have been working in the garage with sandpaper and solvents in the past few days I get pruned up.....but sometimes I just get pruned up anyways....and my wife rarely if ever gets pruned up. Anyways..just kind of thinking out loud here.

http://forum.rpg.net/tags.php?tag=slightly+retarde d Because I really object to seeing 'Retarded' used in that way. I have a few neurological disorders myself so there but for the luck of genetic die go I, and there is enough stigma without this crap showing up here. Yes I know it happens elsewhere online. I smack it down there too.

Instead of running multiple threads dedicated to one emotion this thread is to share your daily highlights, low lights, frustrations, etc. This is an Official Thread so keep it on topic or ye shall feel the wrath of, ummm, ahhh, Asogi The Pruned Gerbil!

Hey guys! I'm usually over on the Brug forum, but I have a question. I ordered all these "lord baltimore" hibiscuses from Big Dipper. (I'm in Illinois BTW) Anyway, they came, with really nice stems, 1/4 inch. They're pruned down to about 1 inch off the soil. In soil in baggies. So. .what do I do with them? I have a green room. Do I wake them up? Do I try to grow them? Or am I ...

I'm staying in my mother's gated golf community condo this week so I could get a little Florida sun. The people are wonderful - it's very friendly, but I'd like to see the Gulf and some nature that isn't placed, groomed and pruned. I have a car and was thinking of taking a little drive to Sanibel. Or should I go to Fort Myers Beach? I'm 33, travelling solo, looking for a beach to nap ...

The grifter-Salahis now contend that they are "planning" a polo event for "next year", involving the Indian Polo team..and their "attendance" was "last minute".. su-u-u-re..that's why Bravo was there with a crew, and why they spent a whole day being primped & pruned at the salon (who had to squeeze them to be paid for a long-ago event), and why they claim to have asked ...

QUOTE(headkase @ Nov 29 2009, 13:08) If you follow the links in the Debating Change thread to the Facebook mechanics page you will see that the structure is organic. It grows, is pruned, is validated, and is dismissed, while retaining truth or authority. It is literally Biologically Inspired Computing. This thread is now about theory. Some mechanics could include...

I'm using Tomcat 5.5 & MySql. Here is the thing. I get "Communication link failure" when calling createEntityManager() in Tomcat. Here is the stacktrace that I get when requesting a page in the browser (I pruned the stacktrace a little): org.springframework.web.util.NestedServletExceptio n: Request processing failed; nested exception is Exception ...

Sam has said he's circumsized. I'm sure he doesn't hate his parents for it. Take a chill pill, bud. Stick to the reason of the arguments here. Of course I don't hate my parents for it. They were ignorant and the doctors presented it to them as something there was no excuse not to do. I am told that I cried for days after, just howling like, well, someone cut a part of my penis off. That ...

Early December is a bit early for pruning in western Oregon but probably not disastrous. February is the general recommendation but I doubt you did any harm. Many people do a whack-back pruning in Fall to reduce wind damage over winter, then do their detailed pruning in spring. I just trimmed mine back a little yesterday. Gardening is very location-specific. In fact location is everything...
