Because if you'd rather have the Jay Robb, go for it because it won't cost you any more than a McDonald's hamburger!!! I posted about this in another thread but decided that this topic deserves it's own thread. From the other thread: Quote: Quote: Originally Posted by melsreturn Will you use one scoop in a shake as a meal replacement? If so,...

Don't heat your whey-based protein powder! I got the idea this afternoon to make a protein-based hot chocolate of sorts. Big mistake! The protein turned into an extremely unappetizing rubber mass floating on top of the water. Yuck!!! Won't be doing that again...

I inadvertently discovered that my Isopure Dutch Chocolate Powder does not mix with skim milk. It kind of clumped up and left chewy little clumps all through it. So I went out today and bought some EAS Chocolate Whey Powder from Sam's Club. Half the price of the Isopure, although it is about 20 calories and 2 carbs higher and 2 grams protein less than the Isopure...but the flavor is ...

I'm running a CKD and have not found a good tasting protein powder. One of them actually made me nauseous to point of vomiting. I forget the brand name but it was horrible. I've been googling but keto diet oriented protein powders are a niche thing and when you get down to taste... there's just no telling. I'd appreciate some good solid reviews from anyone with some information.

I read somewhere that you should not put protein powder in hot drinks. However, I also read on the Unjury website that you can put the powder in 130 degree water. I am wondering if I could put vanilla Unjury in a non-fat decaf latte from Starbucks if I have it made at 110 degrees... which I normally do? If so... I am beyond excited!

Probably a fairly noob question but... I'm about to start Universal Torrent. I know I should take it postworkout but should I also take a protein shake?? Torrent has 20g of protein in a serving, should I bother with the shake (Isopure protein powder) at all or maybe 1 scoop (25g) or just use it once a day whenever to supplement my protein intake?

I'm looking for a protein powder that has absolutely minimal insulin/blood sugar effects; the reason being that spikes in blood sugar/insulin aggravates my acne. What would you guys recommend for someone like me, say Post- WO or as a MRP? ATM the only supps i take are Fish Oil and a Multi. I tried purple wraath (a EAA/beta alanine mix) and it made me break out. Keep in mind I'm a ...

So I'm looking around for protein powder and I found something i'm interested in, it has 14g carbs- 5g dietary fiber and 2.5 grams sugar. I know TNT states we are to have nothing with over 10grams of sugars per serving, so I figure this is cool, but I wanted to check with you guys first. Any comments?
