I heard a rumor that Canon was going to discontinue their current HDV prosumer models... The XL-H1s, etc. and that they are working on something that will rival Panasonic's P2 cameras... Anyone hear any of this? Have any links to share? Thanks!

I don't anyone is qualified to tell how tough a camera is by handling it (it feels cheap in my hands.) It's been my experience that cheap looking things can be tough, and expensive things that feel good can break easily. I'm looking for a HD or high quality SD camcorder. Prosumer quality is what I'm aiming for but I'm not looking for something huge so I may have to sacrifice on quality.
