If I have two processors (Intel Core Duo) and under Device Manager (Windows XP) under Processors it lists two "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5270 @ 1.40GHz." Does that mean my total processor speed is 2.80GHz? Or is it both that equal 1.40? Thanks

1. Planning to purchase LN46B650 LCD TV vs. B550, processor speed among other differences, is 120Hz vs. 60Hz. Is the difference in the speed noticeable when watching high speed action programs? 2. Can anyone comment on usefulness and quality of the 802.11 capabilities of the B650 or B550 models?

I currently have the Axim X30 (624 Mhz) and I've been looking at the "Auto" setting for hte processor speed. I understand that it extends battery life by running as low as 208 Mhz when processor demand is low. I've always used mine on the Auto setting, but I hopped over and changed it to the full 624 Mhz at all times. Obviously, menus and screens pop noticably faster. How many of you use ...

Attention: All testing is on your own risk!!! I tested a little tool to control the CPU speed in our devices, as it has the same, as the BA has. It is possible to connect the speed to the CPU load to save battery resources in idle mode. My tests were made on my own WM6.1 and Teijak WM6.5v3 rom with this: http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/2909/solo680.mp4 (6,9 PS, 81ccm, 24 ...

I just bought a Phenom II X4 955 witch is supposed to run at 3.2ghz without overclocking. In my bios that is what it says but if I run dxdiag or cpuz it says that my cpu is running at 1.6ghz. So what do I do to make it run at the speed it is supposed to?

I'm thinking of buying a 13in MBP. (I know that new ones are around the corner, but that's NOT my question -- I have reasons for wanting to buy one now.) The two most "power hungry" apps I'll be running are Lightroom and Parallels, so that I can use Windows 7. I am deciding between getting the 2.26 GHZ 13in MBP with a 6 GB RAM upgrade, or the 2.53 GHz 13in MBP with the standard 4 GB ...
