I'm curious as to what legal routes you could take if someone chose to park on your driveway. Providing that you do not have a no parking sign (~$110 in Edmonton I believe) it is legal to park on someone else's driveway and bylaw will not tow the vehicle. Anyway, the guy who put it down put in extra grit to make it more stable underfoot. The drive way is at an angle because the house is higher than the footpath. The problem is that I don't think its safe enough yet. On ...

Fairy shrimp and wolves are among the 1,410 animals named on the endangered species list -- and if one turns up on private property, the government could dictate how property owners use their land. The Endangered Species Act was passed in 1973 with laudable goals, to protect plants and animals facing possible extinction, but over the years the list of species in trouble has grown significantly....

Its ok in the summer but in the winter it happens all day when i am at work and i have to spend hours chipping away at the packed snow and ice that is made on the sidewalk.
