Hi, i recently set up a pc for a friend with windows xp pro on it. He has 3 printers - 1 usb, and 2 parallel (HP deskjet 550c and HP laserjet 4L). The problem is, i can't get either of the parallel printers to work on it. I tested them both on a laptop and the 550c works fine, but i can't seem to get the laserjet working on either. I've tried changing the parallel port mode to eco, ecc etc ...

Have a Mac Air (OSX 10.5.8) and a family PC (running XP) with an OfficeJet 4215. Printer works fine when printing directly from the PC. Every time I open a picture file with Windows Photo Viewer or Office Picture Manager and attempt to print, I get 4 message boxes that read, "Your pictures can't be printed because this error occurred". I have three computers that print through an Airport Extreme base station. 2 of those computers(imac G5, imac G4 flat panel) connect to the Internet as well. I have AccuRIP for the mac and sometimes it will print the film I need all the way through, but lately it prints part of the image then ejects the film like it's done. Also, it's not consistent on when it ejects the film, even on the test print. I have made sure to use the standard Epson cable that came with the Epson 1400.
