I use mag primers for rifle loads when using ball powder some times it can make not so hot performance shine in 223. My ? is how dos one know when to use mag or standard primers while loading rounds for hand guns. Dos hand gun lording follow the same powder primer rules as rifle dos. What say you guys-n-gals Erik R.

The 2K Large Rifle and 2K Large Pistol primers, (Winchester,) that were back ordered from Cabela's since April showed up this week. The small rifle and small pistol primers are still back-ordered; expected delivery date January sometime. So at least some of the stuff is getting back into the system. Oh, year, $2.99/100, as they quoted me last spring.

For sale today: 680 CCI large pistol primers, Rhino no longer has large pistol. I think I would like $30 for them picked up. Not into ORMD shipping. Reloading manual from good ol' Richard Lee. This one was printed in 2002, says so on inside flap. If you have only one manual this is probably the best because he covers the subject from beginning to end. Take $25 shipped to your door...

Hey! Good to get back to the forum. I was at the range the other day and picked up some marked Blazer .45 casings. Upon cleaning them up I found that the primer pocket looked really small for a large primer. Tried one in the press and sure enough it was too small for the large primer.
