Quite simply, I've heard that Pride and Prejudice is more likely to be enjoyed by a female audience. Is this true? Can a man not enjoy it as much as a female? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I have a question, who here knows deeply about this book? I have the assignment based on it, as I'm experiencing a little of trouble with answering the questions. Should I post the questions?

It's very easy to see where they're coming from, there are times when Keira acts ...

To the extent that romance is preferred by women, Pride and Prejudice is more inclined towards women if you read it just for the romance. If you have an interest in history and the social conventions of a different time period, though, it can be quite interesting regardless of gender, especially if you pick up on the degree to which Austen makes fun most of the characters in the book. I'm male ...
