In American high schools and middle schools, how many more students get an average grade of A than a grade of D or F, or vice versa. A percentage breakdown of all average grades A through F would suffice, but I am focused mostly on the A's and D's/F's. My reason for asking, besides my failure to find the answer myself, is that there is a statistic floating around that says students who ...

Just how prevalent is the possibility of SUDEP? Do only certain epilepsies carry the risk or are we all in danger of it? No medical professional has ever mentioned it to me. I've done a lot of reading on epilepsy and don't remember ever running across SUDEP. Sorry if I'm asking questions that have already been covered in other threads. Thanks, -------------------------...

Theoretically, 68% of the population should get C's. 95% should get B, C, or D, which means half of 27% should get B's and the other half D's. Of the remainder, half should get A's and the other half should get F's. But unfortunately, that's not how it works anymore. Parents are happier with more A's and B's and fewer C's. There is a lot of pressure to skew the curve in favor of higher ...

Wow. Today, I was told that I have most of the known risk factors for SUDEP. I had seen it mentioned here, but hadn't given it a good look until tonight. That is very frightening! The doctor said "we just need to get these under control" when I said I had heard of it. I was so calm about it, but I didn't realize what we were talking about!!!! I would have fallen apart, much like I am doing ...
