I want to hook up my gauge to test my CIS fuel pressure. I have a question before I start tearing into things. I have an 83 SC with the hard fuel lines. It's finally time for me to install my oil pressure gauge (and others). I've seen the install suggestions on myfordfocus site, but before I go popping out any plugs in the head, I want to make sure there are going to be proper threads in them... the hole under the coil. Can someone who has installed their mechanical gauge to this place in the head confirm that there is no tapping required?

I'm looking at pressure gauges and was wondering what brand you like and what length of hose to put it on. I don't want a console, just the gauge, compass will be moved to wrist, depth on computer. Hose length is the biggest question. Thank you.
