hi,i have a Compaq Presario A935EM Notebook PC that i bought over a year ago.It was working finr till the other day.I normally have it plugged in to a mains socket with the battry inside it.Now it wont turn on when i have it plugged in.the battery wont work either.There is no lights on the laptop now to indicidate anything.it seems totally dead...could it be the system boards..?any ideas?

Hey everyone, I have a Presario F767 NR Notebook. Great Laptop till one day it would not power up. When you press the power button it lights up for about a second maybe 2, and goes out. will not power up. I have Presario r3000 (Win XP) notebook and would like to use an external monitor for a dual display result. However, the notebook doesn't seem to come with the software to do this. Can I download a driver/software to achieve this? Note that I have nVIDIA graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go 64M).

Hello, I hope you can help me. I recently installed windows 7 64 bit on my Presario V3918la but I've been having problems with the drivers. I downloaded NVIDIA MCP67M, ALPS Touchpad and Ricoh Card Reader drivers from HP page. MCP67M seems to be very old, its release date is on 2007, so I bet that there is a newer driver.
