Today I went for a 1 1/2 mile walk for the first time in weeks. I have stopped all carbonated beverages and am trying to chew slowly. Pre op liquid diet and I am so hungry... I took my grand-son through McDonalds today and it was the 1st time that I never ordered anything.. lol This is so HARD.. But if I can go through a fast food joint and not get anything for myself..I know that I can do it after surgery.. If anyone has any advice..I'd APPRECIATE IT!!

Pre Op Liquid Diet permalink I am a week and a half into the pre-op liquid diet and want to make sure I am not drinking too much broth. I am having about 24 oz. a day of either chicken, beef or vegetable broth. Three Slim Fasts a day, maybe one or two sugar free popsicles and a cup of sugar free jello at most.
