Hi, I have a problem regarding powerpoint. I'm trying to convert a ppt 2007 document to ppt 2003 by using 'save as'. When I open the document in 2003 it turns out the transparancy is lost and the background color is changed to black. This only happens when I create slides with pictures in 2007. Is there a way to maintain these settings while converting or is this by design? Thanks in advance...

All of a sudden, my PP2003 is defaulting all my Powerpoint files to open in Viewer instead of just a Presentation. How do I make the default go back to save as a Presentation instead of Viewer slide show? Thanks. Sharon .
I have done pps presentations in the past with PP2000 .. when I put my presentation together and added sound .. I saved it as a pps .. I then sent it out but they could not hear the sound .. am I missing a step in 2003? I really need some help here and pretty quick .. Boston University paper is due today!

My MS powerpoint version was 2003 . Then I upgraded to MS powerpoint 2007. To my surprise, all the text in the textboxes were shifted up above the textbox margin when I opened the presentations in 2007 and also I am unable to centre the text in 2007. This happens only when I open any of my ppts that was already created in 2003 version. Pls help out ..

I was not able to cut and paste the information from the .crv file, but was from the initial error screen that continues to pop up. 100% failure rate, uninstalled and reinstalled office 2003, installed all security updates (each time checking between SP's to see if they had solved the issue), reimaged entire hard drive, also purchased a new HD (just in case that was the issue)...still nothing...office tools that help you to recover a program just have it crash and an error pops up that I send to Microsoft.... have ...

Ich habe gerade eine Präsentation fertig erstellt und bei der letzten Folie wollte ich einen Abspann machen wie im Film. Wenn der Text gelaufen ist, dann wollte ich darunter noch Fotos hinzufügen, die mit Sprechblasen versehen sind. Diese sollten eigentlich mit dem Text als Abspann durchlaufen. ...

You should be able to uninstall the Viewers from Add/Remove Programs. However, they aren't taking up that much room. You still have half your hard drive free so you are nowhere at the point where you need to worry about free hard drive space. Another alternative is to purchase an external hard drive and keep your picture files on that. You can get a 500GB drive for under $100.
