I'll try and explain this the best I can. Would a vehicle weighing 3000lb that has 200hp/torque run the quarter mile in the same time as a vehicle weighing 6000lb and having 400hp/torque if the following were met: -Exactly the same aerodynamics -Simulated enviroment, so same traction, etc -driver does ...

List of cars power to weight ratio. The last number is points found by multiplying price by power to weight ratio. The lower the better. As it stands my car is about 110 points. If I spent $5000 or so on my car for FI, engine management, intercooler, etc and ended up with about 230 rwhp, I'd have about 120 points, still by far the ...

It depends on the power to weight ratio. The engine in that article does not mention the weight, but it certainly cranks out a nice horsepower for the diesel. I can assure you though that you are not going to see a diesel engine in an airplane. The gas model would need to run on aviation fuel, etc....etc... Quasar is looking to build a small aircraft to replace Cessna 152 planes and trainers. I ...

Okay so these are the numbers I figured.... Cadillac CTS-V has a p:w of 7.5935 lb/hp (4222 lb / 556 hp) After my mods are finished I should have about 450 hp so that would be giving me a 7.0644 lb/hp p:w ratio (3,179 lb / 400 hp) the difference between the two numbers is fractional. So would this by a drivers race more so ...

Hey guys how come if a modded YX160 have a higher power to weight ratio than a new Corolla or Yaris they'll do like 130 easy and do 100 at low rpm? I thought about it. I is the torque, the gearing, etc. Today I was on my Reign 140 Bigfoot, 1st is literally useless, 2nd is slow and revs like to !$#@!, 3rd is quiet if you're slow and is only there to get you to 4th, 4th at high revs still feels ...
