Hey Now, I have a 2002 C320 with 2 problems in the door control switch unit for the power seat. I am having an issue with my power seat on my 98 Conti. The recline will not come forward on the passengers side after my wife was "adjusting it" the other day on a small 60 mile trip. Was detailing the interior, and moved the driver seat all the way back. I then started to move it forward, but it stopped all the sudden, and there was a weird fishy smell. Now it just clicks when you press forward, or reverse. I'm thinking the motor blew? It didn't smell electrical, but I guess it could also be the SCM? With this C32 it's one thing after the other. Does anyone know of a way to manually slide a power seat backwards? All of the controls on the seat work, including forward which it just stops and hums, but backwards does nothing. Up and down are fine. I need a way to move the seat back until I can get a new motor, or figure out what's wrong with this one. Has anyone done this before?

Someone, anyone, tell me how I can fix the (very slight) movement in my 03 Accord's power seat, without paying for the entire ($360 + shipping) lower assembly. There has to be an easier/cheaper way, right? I've only felt it move a few times, so it's not worth that much to fix it, especially if the new one would do it again in a year. I don't want it to get worse, if I can help it.

My power seat on the driver side will not raise the rear of the seat. When it gets near the end or top of the lift it just ratchets and will not lift higher unless I pull up on the seat back. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also is there a parts supplier that has power seat parts?...

Recently did a '07 Spec B interior swap on my '05. The only way to make the airbag and occupant detection system work properly is to swap the '05 passenger seat bottom. That's all I need... Not even the cushion. I just want the seat internals and frame for the bottom. The back should bolt right up. I hacked up my '05 manual seat to see if I could modify the occupant system, but it's a no go.

There has been numerous posts about seat comfort. When I read these before I got my max, I was like how can this be. I find the seats to be very comfortable. The thing I find challenging is getting the seats to the comfortable posistion. The power seats, it is deffinetly challenging to get it just right. No idea why.

Did your seat suddenly stop working? Are these from another car? If there is no "clicking" it appears your module is not sending anything to the motors. I don't know if you are comfortable doing this, but if you have a friend with a B6, plug your seat into his car. That'll tell you if it's the seat or if you have someone not set up properly with the car/wiring/harness/fuse, ...
