My power windows and locks quit working. I'm pretty sure i have a broken wire, maybe in the boot. I came to this conclusion because, for awhile i could get it to work if the door was in certain positions of being open. So anyway, I'm having a heck of a time getting the wiring harness pulled from inside the cab. I unpluged one plug but there is a split-off of wires that I can't seem to figure out ...

Someone Please Help. Both drivers side and passanger side windows don't work won't go up or down . the rear vent windows do work . Use to have to play with the switch to get them to work now they don't work at all. I replaced the switch in the drivers door and still no luck. I also can not find the fuse to the windows.

Apologies, I got impatient with trying to find a link for this.... 89 Vanagon Camper, Auto Tran, Power locks/windows Does anyone out there have images/advice/tutorial/links on removing the drivers side inner door panel. I have to replace the power window double bezel plate that the buttons sit in. The clips snapped off of mine and it hangs out of the door panel by the wires....

My '99 Explorer power windows just stopped working a few days ago. I checked fuses and #17 on the dash panel was blown, but replacing it did not fix the windows. I have checked the window lock position several times...if I need to check connections at the switches.....how do I remove this panel?

I'm trying to change power plans and get an error message that says "Windows can't make the power plan that you selected active. Choose a different plan." Then in smaller text "The system cannot find the file specified" This applies to any power option change I try. 1 person needs an answer I do too

Well I was fiddling around the drivers speaker area trying to get a connector for the tweeters. Because right now there is just wire there and it makes it hard to remove the speaker, When the 25 AMP fuse blew. Remembering that VW recalled auto windows on the mk IV Golf/Jetta platforms a while back, because they were caving in. I dodged the bullet because I went with the baseline crank windows. Which were fine until you pull up to a gas station and the pump guy tries to conduct business through the passenger window, assuming it's auto.
