I have a early Bronco power steering box that I purchased a while back. I bought it as I thought my current box was worn, and figured I had better buy it since I might need it, but after further investigation found that the previos owner had installed the "C" bushings wrong. aaarrrgh! Any way,t he Box is clean and was told it has new seals. I don't know if it was fully rebuilt, so lets say ...

As the tittle says; Power steering box working great when removed from my 74 with no leaks or play. I drove with this box for probably 8 months. The pump was bought from a local and he said it worked when removed but I cant confirm this. Also, I have one double pulley. I have pics that can be emailed. 375.00 shipped to your door in the lower 48. Any questions just ask.

I am selling a power steering box (5 1/2 turn), pump, and double pulley to raise funds to hopefully paint my bronco soon. The box worked perfectly when pulled, with no slack, play or leaks. The pump was bought from a guy locally and he said it worked fine when removed but I can not confirm this. I would be interested, however, in trading for a good metal half cab top. Buyer to pay shipping. ...

The instructions say "Route this hose in front of the black steel tube (p/s line) so that the protective sleeve is resting on the tube. Do not route behind this tube. Note: On some engines, you may need to coax the p/s bracket away from the heater." My browser doesnt like to jump to my mail when I hit the link for that on the frostheater web site but luckily I have you all for now I ...

Whenever I start my car up when the engine is cold, I leak power steering fluid all over the place. When it is warm it only leaks just a small amount, more like a couple drops. I do have lucas as the fluid.I cant see exactly where it comes from, but its right below where the PS pump is and drops straight down onto the rack then the ground. Funny thing is that the reservoir says full but there is...

Hello Fellow Fleetwood Enthusiasts: I've got two power-steering-related issues that I'm hoping you can help with. The car, by the way, is a 1994 Fleetwood with 140,000 miles, and some minor modifications. 1) even though I replaced my PS Pump recently, as well as all PS lines, my PS Pump still growls at all engine speeds. It sounds like a Ford with that typical Ford Power Steering sound - ...

g day! I recently noticed that my steering box is making noise everytime i turn the wheel. I had already adjusted the power steering belt and topped-up the power steering fluid, still it makes noise. What do you guys reckon? Are there other ways of solving this? Or is my steering box on its way out? Thanks heaps

Can you mix synthetic power steering fluid brands? Hey guys, I'm about to change my power steering fluid and have found out that Valvoline Synpower has been discontinued which is what I used before. Can I buy any synthetic and do the flush and change? I know it's not a true flush and fill, so will the mixing of fluid brands be a ...
So I work at a Ford dealer and rather than deal with the mess at home I figured I'd have one of the techs do a power steering flush on my car since the stuff thats in there now is pretty much black. The only problem is that we have one of those BG flush machines and I guess we only use their kit in it. It says its compatible with most import PS systems but doesn't spec anything specific as far as...

Hi Im the proud owner of a 1983 e28 528i but seem to save an annoying ps leak. If the car is not driven for a couple of days say five a leak accumulates towards the left hand side of the car. The leaks also runs down the left chassis rail. Could someone please offer me advice as the leak does not occur if the car is driven every day. Cheers
