I have just installed windows 7 on my 540 desktop but i discovered that the system could not recognise a blueray disc..i updated the power dvd dx software as it kept asking me to update it but it stii could not play the blueray disc. I used to watch blueray movies without a problem with vista so what is the problem?

es funktioniert sowohl mit ati als auch mit nvidia karten. wenn du ne ati verwendest, dann benötigst du halt einen stärkeren prozzi, da du eben keine hardwarebeschleunigung seitens der gpu hast, da die ati's ja kein cuda können. eventuell kommt in zukunft was ähnliches das auf opencl basiert, welches dann sowohl ati als auch nvidia ...

Same issue - different system Hooked up my Optiarc BD ROM BC5500S4 on a Dell Inspiron1420, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics card. Cyberlink Blue-ray Disc Advisor gives me the green light, however I get the same error "Your disc drive does not support the playback for this content" What does this mean ?

Hi! Das Ausgabeformat gibt ja eigentlich die Einstellung Deiner Grafikarte vor . Muss also in Power DVD nicht eingestellt werden. Auflösung des Quell bildes: 720*576 -> Korrekt, es geht ja um die Quelle DVD und die hat nunmal diese Auflösung - PAL halt. When I play DVD with Power DVD 9 on my LG blueray drive, sound and picture does not play together, sound play before the picture does, and sometimes the sound would hesitated, wonder if it;s hardware or software issue, updated all the drivers for the motherboard, which is Asus AT3N7A-I and blue ray drive is LG CH08LS10, Please help, been trying to resolve this for 2 weeks
