I brought my 1 month after launch console over to my moms, but had my cousin bring his cables from his 1 yr old console, since mine are such a pain to get to. lo and behold, his power cable won't fit into the back of my 360. the plastic is cut differently. very disappointed, but why would ms change something like that? all 360s should be able to use all 360 periphials.

Hi, I want to add a Sata HD to my Sata compatible system, but I know little about hardware. I found out that a free power cable has a Molex power connector and I found an adapter cable online, that's described as a "5.25" Molex to Sata adapter cable". I was wondering about the 5.25" description: the free cable's Molex connector in my sytem looks much smaller than 5.25". IS it a ...

I need to run an 4 AWG amp power cable from the footwell of my car to the battery. I have found a few places and would like to know which would be the best. I won't cut a hole anywhere into the body of the car so that is not an option. Has anyone found the ideal location?

Warm greetings. I am going to install 2 'Sky HD' cables in readiness for my Sky HD box installation. I am thinking of running it down through the airing cupboard. Will there be any problem with interference if I run it in a conduit carrying 2 electric power cables? Henry.

To run extra low voltage cables (Your Coax) with low voltage cables (mains voltage) the extra low voltage cables must be rated at low voltage. (i.e. if door bell run with twin and earth it may go with mains cables but not it using the normal 0.75mm cable.) I have not looked at Coax but I expect it is not rated 300/500 volt so it would not be permitted in same conduit. Also running two ...

Hello, I am running slackware 12.2 on a box and the other day some programs didn't start. So I reset the box by pushing in the power button. Some things still didn't start up. I disconnected the power cable and waited 10 seconds. After that everything booted up fine. Why wouldn't just holding the power button reset everything? thanks, vadder

Ok. So clutch cable snapped yesterday. Got the car back from the garage today after having it replaced and within an hour of driving, the power steering went and the warning light came on at the dashboard. Could this be related? Any advice on whats wrong and how much to get fixed? Cheers.
