I have noticed that police checks seem to cost $43 from Australian Federal Police in Weston, ACT and 35 pounds from ACPO in the UK. Which is correct? Are they the same? Can they be acquired yourself or do I wait, wait, wait til immigration have acquired? Please help (so confused)

I reached the "25 pounds gone" mark yesterday, which was a mini-goal of mine as it was my company Christmas party. I started WW on 7/22/09, so it took me 4.5 months. I couldn't have made it without this board and our Wednesday weigh ins, as I'm online-only. Thanks guys! NSV: another coworker noticed at the party that I'd lost weight. Yay!
