seems like so many exotics sit around in a garage like a potted plant or statue----owners are afraid to park them just anywhere and afraid to put high mileage on them(justifiably sometimes)...i'm not that bad...i travel at a rate of 6k per year and thats weekend driving exclusively....my question is this, since most mechanics say one of the worst things for a car is for it to just sit becuase it ...

Hello, This is my first year living in Massachusetts, and I'm curious what to do with ten potted Mums I bought in October.? They are very large plants, and appear to be healthy. My neighbor says that with 'care' I can house them indoors, in the cellar, and they will survive through the Winter... However, this little article I found on Google..says otherwise..?? " If you are ...

This isn't especially healthy, but it's a good way of using up left-over cheese that has gone hard and uninteresting. And arguably healthier than bought versions! 30 g butter 1 onion, finely chopped Several cloves of garlic (if liked), crushed 2-3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped About 100-150 g grated cheese (any kind, or several different kinds. Cut off mould unless it was a blue cheese in the ...

Here's a recipe I nicked from the lovely Annabel over on ycdi diet suppoty. Great for using up any odds and ends of cheese. 30 g butter 1 onion, finely chopped Several cloves of garlic (if liked), crushed 2-3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped About 100-150 g grated cheese (any kind, or several different kinds. Cut off mould unless it was a blue cheese in the first place) 1 egg Seasoning to taste (I ...

I have 5 large manzanita trees that were used in backdrops for our wedding. They can also be used as centerpieces. 4 of them are approximately 5'-6' tall and the other one is about 3 ft tall. I am selling them without flowers, crystals or hanging votives, but if you need to know where to get affordable ones I can give you the wholesale pricing information. The pots can be changed out, ...

Hi cancom! It's been a while since I've posted. I have gotten on with things quietly on my own until now and I could use a little help. I got busy/lazy and my plants have stretched a little and when I re-potted them I didn't put in quite enough soil. I wanted to simply place more soil on top, perhaps nearer to the cotyledons. However, the stems are hardening and they are green, green = ...

Ok so I am about 3 days into my first grow. I brought the clones home saturday and potted them in organic soil. Now three days later I am noticing tiny little bugs flying around and I can see really really tiny white dots jumping up and down out of the soil. I read the sticky on bugs and other pests but i can't determine what these are and if they are a problem. If they are a problem what is the ...

I inherited an aloe from my neighbors mother, it was all kinds of blown out overgrown and ugly, so i potted a couple of the 'pups' i think you guys call them, and was debating what to do w/ the rest of it. I brought the mother plant to my other neighbors porch and tore off some of the big fat leaves for his skin, and then started to notice a decidedly unfavorable aroma in the air. so i did what ...

Some of you may recall pictures I posted of the following collection. The Scarlet Belle was so massive that it dwarfed the Sarracenia purpurea. I couldn't take it any longer and re-potted it this weekend with some new plants. Especially like the Sarracenia "Purple Helmet." This is the new planting: I was inspired by some of Brooks Garcia's plantings and tried to duplicate the feel with ...
