i am getting tired of dealing with hand me down, mixed matched pots and pans and really want to get a good set. i don't know what is what when it comes to this stuff. i know i hate this stainless frying pan i have with a passion. anything besides water sticks to it no matter how low the temp or how often you stir. i don't know if some of the "professional or expert" t-fal or faberware sets ...

So I picked up a Dora Kitchen from Craigslist for $25 last night - yeah me, my daughter is going to love this! Unfortunately they could not find the dishes, hence the low price. Now I am on a mission to find an inexpensive pots and pans set. I don't really need dishes because my sister bought her a Tinkerbell tea set. I would really love to be shopping right now, and not at work! I ...

If so, help me pick out a new set. I really need a new one to replace my scratched up non stick ones and I am thinking about stainless steel as an alternative. No idea if spending way more money would be worth it or not. My last set was TFAL, not super expensive, but only lasted about 3.5 years. I want to invest in something that will last longer and ideally avoid non stick - any ...

OT: maxx, I learned a new trick today. I washed pots and pans at the community building. Free meals for down and outers. Some of those folks were driving new Toyota. They just put a "For Sale" sign in the window and drive around and eat free! I'm on to them....may even join them!

I need some new saucepans, a dutch oven, and a pasta/stock pot. I currently have some hand-me down nonstick pans/dutch oven from my MIL that have to be at least 15 years old and are all scuffed up and should be replaced. I'm used to non-stick and caring for them. I have some really nice non-stick Circulon skillets that I really like. I am debating as to whether to get non-stick saucepans,...

Just wondering if anyone spotted any deals on pot and pan sets in any ads. I've only look at the walmart one so far and don't recall seeing any, but I could have missed it. We're going there for sure.

i have always used paderno items and they seem to be okay and decently price (usually purchase when on sale at home hardware or a factory sale) however i am thinking about replacing them because i am not convince they are the best (had some issues with the cookie sheets rusting and the pans themself seem to not have the best non-stick coating) which is why i want to replace any thoughts?...

OK, Mr Tiki is the chef in our household, I'm just the baker. He's wanted new pots & pans forever, but loves his non-stick surfaces. I just found a gorgeous huge set of Circulon anodized p&p for a reasonable price & bought them, somewhat reluctantly. The clerk TOLD me they ARE a non stick surface, but they are not shiney like the Teflon coated crap he's currently using. Circulon has circular ...

I need suggestions and opinions on buying pots and pans. I want non stick and easy clean up. I have looked at Paula Deen's and Rachel Ray's set. I am looking for something in that price range. There are so many out there with different finishes and all promise to be the best. Can you all help me?

I have the KitchenAid stainless ones. I bought them about 5 years ago and they still look brand new. They have oven-tested silicone handles so any of the pots can go in the oven. Yay!!

Amy, just so you know, I am a wimp and have never dropped one! I would go to a store that carried the Emeril ones and the Calphalon ones and get to hold them both. Honestly, I usually keep the pots and pans on the stove, except to drain them or when I put them in the sink to wash. Does anyone have either that you can borrow a pan to use and try?
