I tried to run a sdhc cab file on my Toshiba Portege G710 phone, then my problem starts. When I start the phone, only Toshiba displays on the screen and nothing else happens. I press together the video and power buttons and the Download screen comes up. My pc does not recognize my device either. What can I do to have the phone operating again?

As far as finding a next tablet that I'll have some semblance of being able to afford goes (albeit after selling my TC1100 and accessories, which might net me US$300-350 if I'm lucky), I've come down to the three options mentioned above. Hi, I have recently upgraded from XP Pro (32-bit) to Windows 7 (64-bit). I had been successfully sync'ing my Portege G810 (running WM6.1) with XP but it won't sync with W7. I have a Portege M405 tablet. The DVD drive isn't working and I'm trying to install the drive from a USB device. My external DVD drive didn't seem to work with the laptop, so I hooked up my external hard drive to install from that, but the Windows installer can't see the internal hard drive! Hello. Sorry that the hard reset did not take. Again, we don't know that is the correct procedure since there is nothing on the net for the G710. I would contact Toshiba support to make sure that is the way to hard reset the device or consult any product documentation/manual that you might have.
