like calling a person with a penis a boy and a person with a vagina a girl No, not at all like that. Gender is an actual classification based on your physical traits. I'd even support a third gender option for transgendered citizens. My analogy included an arbitrary classification such as "slave". It is as arbitrary as the marriage/civil union divide.
