I have an older Jazz Bass (Squier, JV). I have a problem with it where the E and A string pop out of the nut when I play them too hard. Conventional wisdom is to blame this on the nut, but I'm not sure it's the sole culprit. The posts on the tuning machines on this bass are so long, that the string leaves the tuning machine, and meets the nut at a fairly straight angle. That is to say, there ...

i think it would be cool if once you died a random spartan A.I. would "drag" you to the safest place on the map and you would respawning by walking up with the A.I. telling you to get up. then you would blink one more time and the A.I. would be gone. it would make the game more realistic than just randomly popping u out of no where. post your thoughts. NOTE: the A.I. would leave as soon as he ...

We have a whirlpool ADG7952 dishwasher - about 7 years old - and recently, it's stopped washing as well as it used to. At the end of the wash, a plastic tube has "popped out" of its slot just behind the central rotor of the floor of the dishwasher. I pop it back into place, but after each wash, it's popped out again. Not completely out, but far enough that I suspect the flow of water for the ...

When the weather gets windy (and boy, has it been windy lately), the glass in my automatic vent appears to have been blown out - I have found it on the ground next to the greenhouse- fortunately unbroken, although I fear it's only a question of time before it is smashed. What should I do? Should I seal it into its frame somehow?

I have a HP desktop/tower with a GEFORCE 8400 GS -- a PCI video card. Occasionaly the screen goes blank and the only way to fix it is to open the case and lift up on end of the video card for a few seconds. The monitor signal goes from dead to active, and then the screen starts working and stays working for an hour or so. It's better than a blank screen but it's only a temporary fix...

...lighting up, why? The cigarette lighter does not light up and constantly keeps popping out when I push it in. What's the possible reason for this and is it an easy fix or would I need new parts of some kind?

No, that would be really silly, actually. And it would get annoying as heck after 5000 times of it happening. I prefer the countdown timer to appearing out of thin air.

You should always put it into second to stop the gears from rotating ,then put into reverse that's what I do cuz my reverse gear use to knock when engaging. And now I'm good , but after installing tt/r32 bushing when shifting it's wierd . But I think ur reverse is way to doneski , see what a mechanic sais prolly new tranny

Yes, that's where to fit the small stainless steel screw. It anchors the tube into the receptacle & stops it popping out. Whirlpool sent out a directive on this problem some time ago, the fix is what we have already discussed. I think the reason the tube springs out is because of a tolerance/thermal expansion issue, but I don't think this was ever really confirmed. I believe newer models have ...
