...would we be an elite team? I look at the guys we have in place and I am one who recognizes Duhon's efforts as of late and I'm not one who's hangs on the fact Brandon Jennings is the best things since pants with pockets and Jordan Hill is the Sith. But I can't help but wonder, if we had a legit big and a more suitable point guard who possesses the quickness and savvy to get it done, where ...

Third time appears to be a charm for new USC point guard Mike Gerrity The Mater Dei High grad, who bounced from Pepperdine to Charlotte, N.C., to USC, was key to the Trojans\' upset victory Saturday over Tennessee. He may have arrived just when the team needs him most. By Baxter Holmes December 22, 2009 E-mail Print Text Size Before Mike Gerrity played his first minute for the USC ...

Nate only wants one thing from his point guards: no turnovers. He doesn't even want assists out of his point guards (against Orlando, Blazers only had 7 assists, an all-time franchise low). So when he gets a TRUE point guard who understands the game better than he does, that point guard either gets benched (Miller, Bayless) or gets traded (Sergio). Who remains? A shooting guard parading as ...

All the fame and notoriety is going to Jenning's head and starting to go to Tyreke.Johnny Flynn is the only one getting to develop actual point guard skills and not being expected to play like he is a rookie Lebron James.

Hindsight is worth nothing in sports. Zip. All I keep hearing is, "why didn't we do this?" , "We should'a done that." Does anyone seriously think the Knicks are the only ones who've made mistakes? And does anyone seriously think that Knicks fans are the only ones who try to second guess the team's management? Last year most of the people on this board were crying about how stupid the Knicks ...

DERON IS CLOSE BUT I'LL GO WITH CHRIS PAUL why Easily Paul. Just look at their stats. Paul is superior. Some important stats to look at for a guard is how well they take care of the ball vs accumulating assists. Paul is incredibly outstanding in this category. If that isn't enough, Paul is a better shooter both from 2 and 3. Even late in games, when other team is forced to foul when ...

This seems more like an even split for both players. With a split based on playing time, I think Nash/anyone, Paul/anyone, and Williams/anyone will top the list. That's incorrect, because the point of the list is PRODUCTION. Which means when you take off the starting point guard, you will not lose much when bringing in the backup. Do the Jazz even have a backup? Nash and Dragic have ...

I kinda doubt Mcbee will be the starting point gaurd this year or next year. I am pretty sure he is a walk on player so unless he is offered a scholarship the scholarship players will continue to start while he comes off the bench. I would like to see him in a starting roll I just dont really see it happening.
"Name someone in the league besides KG who gives 100% on a consistant basis?" Actually, I think most of them do.....The game is just at such a high level of play that it takes 100% from most to stay in the league.....

you're right for the most part. bayless should be the man , can't get any better sitting on the bench. gets to the basket at will ( should of got some calls last night will come as refs get used to seein him) and didn't realize how good his shot was. but we gotta make moves sirtoonce, can't wait for everyone to get healthy and hope all pieces fit puzzle, they didn't when they were. u want this ...
