I'm trying to make my christmas card with photoshop elements. I watched a lot of tutorials last summer and made a few scrapbook pages, but now I can't figure this out. The sentiment for the card is a png file that has the gray and white checks for the background, but when I add it on top of the card, there is a box surrounding the words. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

When I drag and drop a PNG image to iWeb, it shows up fine in iWeb, but once I publish it to either my site or to a folder, all the PNG images are converted to JPG with a very low quality.... Is there anything i can do to stop iWeb from changing my image file? THX I'm using the latest iWeb 09 3.0.1 ...

I succesfully installed an action and an associated .png file and all works well in PSE8 Editor. I then wanted to change the associated .png file. I deleted the old ,png file and copied the new one in it's place. However, when I restart Editor the old .png picture for the action is still visible. Is there a more correct way to change the .png file? Skip

see attachment. I want to get the nav buttons to be displayed properly over the background which alternates b/w the orange gradient and the white background. Obviously, I can't choose a matte color. What is the best option?

When a web page is created and a png file is used in order to curve the corner of a table cell the colour renders incorrectly. Gif files render correctly. The colour I'm using is #EB6909. If anyone has any idea why this is I'd be interested. Thanks 1 person needs an answer I do too

Hi Im just trying to figure out how to convert a png to a vector. I have tried using the trace bitmap on a few options but it is coming out jagged. I am trying to convert the files RSK design tool sends you when you get an order so i can cut using vinyl. Cheers Andy

So I created a transparent PNG banner for my website. But, the only way I can save it without losing too much image quality is if I save it as 24, and according to Photoshop, it's going to take 81 seconds to load at the speed of 28.8 KBPS. Is this something I should be concerned about? If it is, does anyone have any ideas on what I could do?

Let me clarify; I was looking for a technique that allows for the nav buttons to render properly despite the alternating background colors. I could've swore there was a javascript or image technique for doing so. I know I could do png-24 but it wouldn't render properly in IE6.

Although it took several minutes when I restarted PSE8 Editor for the program to start as it appeared to recreate thumbnails for the entire program? I was hoping for an easier way. We'd all like an easier way, but for some reason adobe insists on this setup in recent versions of PSE.

Open the PNG file. use the "Magic Wand", Lasso tool, Marquee tool ect to select each colour/area/shape etc that you want to go on different layers, then use Shift+Ctrl+J will cut the selection into a layer or Ctrj+j will copy it to a layer. Layer -> Layer via Cut/Copy on the menu.
