Sarah has had a fever for 4 days...increasing each day. This morning it hit 104. Took her in to see the dr and they took blood, urine, and chest xray. Well...xray shows pneumonia on the right lung, urine shows likely UTI, and blood had elevated white blood cells. So they are culturing the urine and blood overnight and calling me tomorrow. Please add a 23 year old to your prayer list today. She is in one of dd's classes and went into the hospital last week with flu/pneumonia. She has diabetes and has a LOT of problems with that. I've been sick for a month and on several rounds of antibiotics. Today I went to the 7 day clinic - part of my doctor's practice - and the chest x-ray shows pneumonia. I am "grounded" for a week and I am realizing that I don't know how to rest. But I'm trying. Anyone else out there in the same boat - knowing in advance you'll be home sick this week? It feels weird, especially at Christmas time...
