I'm looking at booking a stay at the Illusion Boutique Hotel. I see on their site that one of the room types is the Cabana Rooftop Room but there are no photos. Anyone ever stayed there in that room?

When would be the best time to book for next summer. Now or wait until after the new year? Also, where are the best deals coming from? I usually use Vonwoo but they aren't answering email requests and Orbitz but they don't have this hotel. Thanks for help.

HELP! we are going to have to pick between the following resorts due to a time share: occidental allegro playacar, dreams puerto aventuras, viva wyndham maya, bluebay grand esmerelda, and sunset fisherman spa and resort. Kids will be 20 months and 10 years old. Any suggestions? We need kid friendly and fun!

Can anyone offer any suggestions on room numbers for Junior Oceanfront suite? (1/14-1/21) I am suggesting a top floor for the water view. It appears these rooms are in the middle and end sections? Maybe the middle would be closer to the pools, restaurants, lobby? Thanks

I've been to Playa twice and absolutely love it but want to try another area of mexico. Are PV or Sayulita more or less like Playa? I'd like to avoid the flashy tourist traps like Cancun . I have been to Playa, Akumel, and Cancun , and though i resisted going to PV as i didnt think i would enjoy it as much as the mayan riveria side, i am now a die hard PV fan and will not ever go back to the other side, PV has something for everyone, awesome food choices, activities, local color, the malecon..side trips like botanical gardens...PV has it all, and much more interesting ...

I have been eye-ing up the The Royal Playa del Carmen on Bookit and Trip Advisor and am very please with what I see. I love getting off 5th Ave to the west and see all the little shops, holes-in-the-wall and maybe seeing just what Playa del Carmen is really like. And believe it or not while standing waiting at a corner to cross the street, cars actually stopped for us.
