This began as a way to document how efficient nature is with water and plant life. Currently South Central Texas is experiencing the worst drought in 50 years. And yet, with little rainfall, the field on the 9 acres of land 9 miles south of Kerrville, Texas in the heart of the Hill Country and the drought, this field managed to grow, turn green, give birth to the next generation...

Put a couple more pictures up today. Some of the plantlife, vernal ponds, a million shades of water and green are really neat. More than my current photography skills can handle. Next trip I need to take a tripod. There are now three people , including myself, complying with the deed restrictions, and forming an educational informal Moody Pond study group. It's a nice shortish walk into the ...

I'm planning to do a shoot with a model. it should either be in a run down building or a scenic place with lots of plantlife. Preferrably within metro manila and easily accessible ...and would anyone happen to know if it's free to take photos at parks and wildlife or would we need a permit

Notice on the Topotek1 website that the greenery by the river has been replaced by hard landscaping, which is a bit crap in my view. Surely the area will still feel pretty 'grim' without the plantlife to liven it up.

This is great for scientists but I worry about the effects it could have on the wildlife and plantlife down there. Not to mention I agree with tgc1 - how are these things coming back?

Sigh! Here we go again, the usual desperate straw-clutching by the deniers. How is it that you can ignore the vast body of published and scrutinised scientific evidence supporting anthropogenic global warming while accepting uncritically the pronouncements of a television celebrity who is ignorant of the field and who has not only been shown to be talking complete bol locks (concerning glaciers...

Idoub you will be able to get one that size to eat much in the way of veggies. Keep trying though. Maybe scent them in some manner or mix with his favorite food? These guys, despite common perception of them as predators/scavengers, can actually be quite herbivorous in many areas they live with abundant plantlife but relatively little large prey.(but certainly, like us, prefer to eat meat...

Dear Sir, To be honest with you, I’m getting a bit sick of this. I’ve been coming here for many years now, and you haven’t changed at all. Let me explain to you, again, how we know that you are plants and what your impact on this film actually is. Your impact on any film is negative. I know you may not like to hear this, but the fact is, we never see plant reviews/ ...

Q u o t e: On Draenor. You can't deny the fact that the two paths are linked because they were influenced by the same elements of their homeworld. The elements of Draenor are not the same elements of Azeroth. They have different voices and different personalities. The paths aren't different, they are merely two aspects of shamanism as a whole. The elemental and nature ...

Sorry Oli, This must have fallen off he bottom of the page. Most Anubias species shouldn't actually be rooted in the gravel at all. They're best attached to a piece of rock or bogwood. Plain elastic bands should help hold them in place until their roots get established around the decor. Red plants, unfortunately generally need extremely high lighting. I can't remember whether you ...

Quote from: Keroman on November 28, 2007, 10:02 PM I get violently ill at the sight of large masses of mold on food. Like when I was moving out of my old apartment I pulled open the fruit drawer at the bottom of the fridge and there was a pear that had been forgotten and was pretty much mold with a stem. I was dry heaving for a good 10 minutes. I never did open that thing up again, I mean ...
