  How can I change the default of all incoming email (Outlook 2007) to appear as rtf or HTML. They now appear as plain text no matter how they were sent. Thanks!

Can anybody point me in the direction of a plain text email client? I'm basically looking for something like Mailsmith, but the sticking point is that we're using an Exchange Server - which isn't supported by Mailsmith. Anybody know of another that will give me what I need? Thanks!

Exchange Server is not plain-text friendly. It automatically converts every incoming plain-text message to HTML before delivering it to the client. Yes, read that again. Maybe the Exchange admin can disable this conversion, but somehow, I doubt it. You can compose in plain text, using Entourage or any other client.

  I chose in sending mail plain text rather than html. I was getting Chinese characters in html for Windows mail. The forums suggested plain text. When I did the Chinese characters went away. However, once I change to 16 pt color, I only had the color when I replied to an email and not when I composed it. How can I achieve consistence...

  Is this a bug with Outlook 2007? When I forward an email that has been formatted in html, it changes to plain text in the forwarded message. I can change it back to html, but all the links are not highlighted. Very frustrating! Thanks Vee

Hallo Forum. I am creating some mails via pear/Mail_Mime and generate a HTML version and a text version of mails. But when I recive the generated email, the mail.app don't offer me to see the text version of this email (View->Message->...). I only can see "Long Headers" and "Raw Source". All other points are (gray-) disabled. When I boot in 10.4 The mail.app show both variants...
