http://s933.photobucket.com/albums/a...PistonSlap. flv Seeing I think this is a piston slap due to the fact it sounds and ticks like one and honda engines are known to get them, only does this in the cold which is perfect symptom and stops when it warms up due to piston expanding and closing in the on cylinder walls clearance instead of knocking against it. But I also might think I ...

Does anyone know where I can get a spare Ego 07 HPR piston? The regulator seat on it is badly worn and I was wanting to replace it. I tried looking it up online and did not find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Alrighty, Does anybody have any information on how to rebuild these calipers? More specifically, how many seal rings go on each piston? I know this is very vague, but any information is helpful I figured I'd ask here versus the 944 turbo section, hopefully I made the right choice haha Thanks

Wanted to take the heads off anyway to get them even more ported by LE. All 8 cylinder walls look alike, intake same as exhaust side of the walls. Looks like piston slap to me and can't be fixed through ...

Good method for cleaning carbon from piston tops? I thought there had to be an easy way, but the best I found through searching the net was using 'chem-dip', a pretty nasty stuff found at auto parts stores and a lot of elbow grease (razor blades, et)c. This had questionable, unverified results..but seemed about the best published ...

Remove all Advertisements Check your spark plug once in a while, it seems mine was really loose and this seemed to lean up the mixture ( alot), as it pulled alot of extra into the cylinder before each firing stroke. It was jetted a little lean, but...not this lean!

I have a honda 5.0 GC160 DHAF The owner I purchased it from took the motor apart and didnt have the skills or time to reassemble. The reason the motor was taken apart was the plastic cam wheel shatter. So I got new cam, belt and now its time to reassemble. I have the timing instructions/details from this forum, but have a couple other questions; 1) intake and exhaust valve. One ...
