I'm vaguely thinking about partially pimping a Medalist. One of the guys at the last conclave had one. People love the round line guards, but I found threading the line through it to be more trouble than it was worth. I'm just thinking about getting the sculpted pillars, metal latch cover, and maybe the handle. Would it cause any problems to leave the line guard off?
