I think the swine flu is somthing that is hpyed up by the goverments and the media to draw attention from other issues such as the "ecconomic crisis" ect. What happend to the bird flu? Does anyone still have it or did just mirraculasly dissapear off the face of the earth?

In the past years vaccines have been distributed by private companies. Now for the pig flu the government has decided to distribute it. Some places have more than the rest of the state. Some are not getting it. Major shot clinics get 1000 shots when they could have used 3000. What a SNAFU… Once again the government has been able to take something so simple and mess it up!!

DD1 had a mild fever when she woke up on Sat. morning. The fever continued to get higher throughout the day and Sat. night got up to 104. She has been running a temp consistantly of 101 ever since. No other symptoms other than a fever and feeling sluggish. What do you think? Swine flu? If so, how long can I expect this to last?

I've heard that some only get one shot. Today, on the Cherie FM just said that only one shot per person is correct but kids will get two shots. For some people (including kids) there is a determine if a person needs the "Sans Adjuvant" or "Avec Adjuvant". My doctor said I should get the Sans Adjuvant, since I'm using blood thinning medication. From what I can find, Adjuvant is a catalyst...
