Upgraded to 9400 in order to transfer phone book via bluetooth to Toyota Highlander. I am only able to transfer 10 contacts at a time. This is the message I receive from the 9400. The nav/phone system is supposed to be able to upload one or all of the phone book on the 9400. Is there a work around to unlock the restriction?

Last year about this time, I did all the research I could on making the switch to voip. One of the things I was concerned about was keeping my old number. I own a small business, and it is important for me that my customers know how to get ahold of me, even if I am at home. I called Bellsouth to make sure that my number would stay in the phone book. The assured me it would, unless I called ...

I know how to switch from sure type to multi tap in apps such as notes etc. I keep my pearl in sure type all the time, however when I go to my phone book and try to find a name by typing the first few characters of the name, I find that because I am in Sure Type, I get weird names in the list. Is there an easy way to switch to multi tap while in the phone book list, it's not on the quick menu ...

No... I am afraid the current state of "cordless" phones is aimed at K-Mart or Dollar Store shoppers when compared to cell phone technology. I have been looking years for a cordless that can do just two things my cell can do ( bluetooth headset pairing and phone number import from Address Book), but connected to a land line. They don't exist. I guess phones designed for use without the ...

I have always just hit the send button and typed the name. It seems a lot easier than scrolling all the way into the phone book and searching for it. If youre looking for Roberts for instance...you would type eR-Op-Bn-Er-eR-Ty-aS

The contacts must be available in a supported application on your computer - that is supported with the iPhone for syncing contact information. at&t includes the following on their website. AT&T Devices (with AT&T SIM) 1. Install SIM card from previous device into iPhone 3G and select Settings >>> Mail/Calendar/Contacts >>> Import SIM Contacts >>> SIM Import 2. If you...

once you get started with your phone book, I'd suggest these two classes Help with Code Tags ( Toggle Plain Text ) class personalNumber{ public: personalNumber(string, number); string getName(void); int getPhoneNumber(void); //... private: string name; int number; //... } class personalNumber{ public: personalNumber(string, number); string getName(void); int ...

Thanks for your post. The Calisto has the bluetooth chipset in the handset. My understanding of the ATT unit is that it is in the base station (meaning that range is extremely limited even if you have the handset in your pocket). Is this indeed the case? If not, I have a couple of more questions: Can you answer incoming land line calls directly from the bluetooth headset? How ...
