Hi I have recently switched from a 8800gt 512mb to an 4890 and to my surprise i get really bad performance. In Vantage i get ~6500p Gpu score, performance preset. I did also run STALKER Call of Pripyat bench and got really bad results, basically the same as my old 8800GT. http://www.imagehost.se/visa?id=zrfmxn6g I discovered i had some nvidia ...

Hi All, I'm using OWB 11.1. I'm new to OWB and I'm testing process flow with 2 mappings (the only difference is that one of them has table function operator). First gets executed in 40 seconds but the second one takes around 2 hours for similar set of records !! I suspect that the problem is not in table function itself... I've made a small test on ...

Hi folks, This is my first post -- I bought a 5810 about a year ago, found this site, installed MyStuff 5, and everything was fine for 6 months or so. In the last 6 months however, my Toppy's performance has deterioriated to the point where recorded programmes now regularly freeze or stop during playback, and the remote often fails to respond for minutes at a time, particularly but...

Hello, My program on IBM JRE 6 runs much slower than on IBM JRE 5 (or Sun's JRE 6). On AIX with JRE 1.5 SR9-0 it runs smoothly so as on Windows with JRE 1.5 (from IBM development package for Eclipse Version 211). On top of that the same program running on Sun's JRE 6 on Windows runs fine. Example figures (execution time of unit tests on Windows): IBM JRE 6 - 880 seconds Sun ...

Hi, We have a web application running on an EC2 instance. I run a load test from a client that is located on another EC2 server in the same availability zone. If the test client is using the internal IP to access the server, the performance is more than 3 times higher than using the elastic IP. We access the servers in the test only by IPs, not by domain names. Notice...

It sounds like...   The server is slowing down when lots of people are using the application   Although...the application isn't run server side, the swf is downloaded and run browser side, so that shouldn't be an issue at all.     Unless there is a lot of server-data interaction with the application. Like, ALOT of interaction, constant streaming of media files or something.     ...

it is always difficult to guess the cause of a performance issue, it can be caching, web server, database, ... try to isolate the bottleneck component, e.g. compare sql server time used for typical queries etc. Also check the web site log, there might be crawler on the site, slowing down the system.  Sebastian Leupold

If Í remember correctly, with my spec, I got roughly 9500 - 10000 vantage preset performance test. I believe there is something wrong with your system. Or maybe your CPU is holding back the performance. Anyway, some research on similar configuration would be usefull. You alse might want to try it with other games. HAWX could be a good test for this card

Dont think that this might be the case. We already reduced the Texture Count to 16 with one pass, but nothing changed. Is it possible that the framerate breaks, cause we use VET_FLOAT4 and not VET_FLOAT2 in the VES_TEXTURE_COORDINATES part?
